Domestic Shipping (within USA)

Standard Shipping

All orders within continental USA and to Alaska, Hawaii , U.S. Territories, APO's, FPO's, AE's, AA & Military addresses  are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) by Priority Mail Service with delivery confirmation. We charge $8.95 shipping fees on all orders weighing up to 1 lbs. Shipping charges for orders weighing over 1 lbs will be determined by the weight of the package and the Zip code of the city it is being shipped to. For all product that are liquid, the weight indicated next to the product is the weight of the liquid alone. The total weight of the product is usually between 0.5 lbs- 1 lbs over the weight indicated. Shipping to Local Cities

If you live in Torrance, Lomita, Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes and   Redondo Beach area of South Bay, we will deliver your order to your front door without charging any shipping fees on your orders. Our Web site will add the default shipping charges ( $8.95) irrespective of where you live. However, we will deduct those charges from your total at the time of order processing.

Overnight Shipping

Overnight shipping service is not available.

Payment Method

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as a form of payment. For Customers in USA, you may also pay by Money Order, Cashier's check, Personal or Company check drawn to a US Bank. For Customers in Canada, we accept Money Orders. We reserve the right to hold any check, pending Bank Clearance, prior to shipment of Order. All payments should be made in US dollars only. We do not ship C.O.D.

California Sales Tax

We will charge applicable state taxes on all orders shipping to a California address

FoodandVitamins.com is a 24 hours day /7 days a week on-line web store with qualified sales staff available online round the clock. We highly encourage you to place your Orders online on our secure server. However, if for some reason, you would prefer not to place your order online and would like to place your order on phone, you are welcome to do so.You can  email your phone number and one of our sales representatives will be glad to take your order on phone. You may also call us at 310-373-2955 to place your order. This phone number is available to take customer orders only. For product questions, please send us an email and  we will reply promptly.You may also order by mail. Please fill out the  form on the Check out page of our web site completely and include your check or money order for the total amount, including shipping. Please make sure you include the phone number or email  address, where we can contact you, in case we have questions  about your order. For shipping on heavier items, please call or email for shipping charges.

Telemarketers and Other Manufacturer Sales representatives: We do not accept phone solicitations at this number.

Order Processing

Most orders whether domestic or International are generally processed within 48 hours of a customer placing an order, provided  all the items in your order are in stock  For your protection and security, we verify all information provided by you, prior to shipment of your order.  

Product availability/ Back Orders
We stock all items listed on our web site, unless otherwise mentioned. However, occasionally, unexpected shortages and manufacturer's out-of- stock situations occur due to unexpected inventory demands, weather problems or raw material shortages etc. You will recieve an email notification in such situations. We try to ship your entire order together. If an item is on order, we will hold your order for 3-4 days and ship the entire order once the product becomes available. However, if the item is unavailable  for a long time, we will ship the products in stock and ship the rest when it becomes available. You will be charged shipping only for the first shipment.

Product Returns

We will  gladly accept returns of unopened, resaleable items within 15 days of shipment of orders within continental USA..We do not accept returns of orders shipped to International destinations . Please contact us via email prior to returning any products to us. All returns must have a prior approval from our returns department. For all approved returns, the customer is required, at customer's expense, to return products with return Authorisation number to:

Special Orders

If you don't find the product you are looking for and would like us to order it for you, we will be glad to do so. Please email us the brand name, quantity and size of the product you are interested in and we will try our best to get it for you. For all special orders, we require a payment in full before the product is ordered.

International Shipping ( Including Canada)

All orders pay actual shipping and insurance charges based on U.S. Postal rates. We also charge $10 handling fees for first time International customers( $5.00 for Canada) and $5.00 handling charge on orders for returning International customers. Customer pays any applicable customs, duties and/or taxes. We'll calculate the Shipping Charge based on the weight of the package and destination. These charges will be added to your order. Note: We attempt to ship all items in one package (box) provided it is less than 66 pounds (29 kg) and fits within a 22" by 22" by 22" (66cm x 66cm x 66cm) box. Some weight restrictions per package lighter than 66 pounds may apply to certain countries.

International Payment Methods
From Canada We accept payment by USA or Canadian bank issued credit cards -MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card or American Express cards. We also accept money orders. All orders and payments should be in U.S. funds only. No checks allowed.

From Other International Destinations (except Canada) We accept money orders  in U.S. dollars only. No checks allowed. We also accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Over & Under Payments
Orders that are underpaid will not ship until the balance is received. You will be notified by email or letter. If we receive an overpayment, a refund check will be issued promptly.

Shipping Method and Delivery Times
Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and U.S. Territories These orders are shipped U.S. Mail Priority only. Delivery time is  usually  5-7 days, after your order is shipped

Canada These orders are generally shipped via United States Express Mail. Delivery time is approximately 2-3 days  after your order is shipped.

All Other International Destinations We ship to all international (outside USA) destinations via the U.S. Postal Service by Global Express mail service. Approximate delivery time is 4-7 days. You may experience additional delays in customs over which we have no control.

International Back Order Policy
We will not back order out-of-stock items for International destinations. Back orders only apply to orders shipping to Continental USA destinations. We will attempt to notify you via email. If we are unable to contact you, the order will ship without delay minus the out-of-stock item. If you paid by money order, we will mail you a refund. If you paid by a credit card, your card will not be charged for the items out-of-stock.

Customs Duties and Taxes
Duties and taxes are set by your country's customs service and are the sole responsibility of the customer. FoodandVitamins.com neither collects these fees, nor quotes their actual costs. You are to pay import fees, duties and taxes, if any, to the responsible party.

Refund Policy on  International Orders
We do not offer any refunds on orders seized by the customs in your country or returned back to us. Please check with your country's customs service for information on quantity restrictions and prohibited ingredients. We take no responsibility for items not cleared by customs or confiscated by them. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to find out all the information, including any import licences required before placing an order. The following list may be helpful in determining which products you should avoid ordering. However, this list is not complete and is not to be relied upon. Use it only a guideline. We update it periodically as a result of our own experience.

Argentina Maximum weight per package: 44 pounds.

Australia Items or ingredients that are prohibited: Products containing stimulants (ephedra, caffeine, mahuang). All protein powders. Maximum weight per package: 44 pounds.

Canada Items or ingredients that are prohibited: All Andros (-dione's, -diols's, 19Nor-), Caffeine, Ephedra, DHEA, Guarana, Testosterone Boosters, L-Carnitine, Mahuang, Pregnenonlone, Yohimbe. Maximum weight per package: 66 pounds.

France Items or ingredients that are prohibited: St. John's Wort and Melatonin. Maximum weight per package: 66 pounds.

Germany Maximum weight per package: 70 pounds.

Great Britian Maximum weight per package: 66 pounds.

Japan Maximum weight per package: 44 pounds.

Colombia

The Customs Department requires an import license before they grant entry to our packages. The customer must fax a copy of license before allowed to place order.

Greece

Hong Kong

Israel

The Customs Department charges storage fees while customer is contacted. The fee is undetermined and customer must sign and return a letter provided by us, agreeing to pay for all charges.

Italy

Custom Department will not accept any packages with more than a months supply for nutritional supplements.

Mexico

All orders placed from Mexico require a health permit from the Ministry of Health. We will be glad to ship it to a US address.

Philippines

We do not ship any orders over $499.00 without a copy of an import advice note from the customer. The note must be submitted prior to placing the order.

Spain

The Customs Department does not accept any nutritional supplements, therefore, we do not ship any orders to Spain.

Thailand

The Customs Department requires an import license along with a certificate from The Ministry of Health.

To minimize misuse of credit cards over Internet and for your credit card protection, FoodandVitamins.com verifies all information submitted by a customer before a order is sent out to International destinations.
